Power*e™ Glass is Safe
At its normal operating temperature, the surface of the Power*e™ Glass is warm and will not burn you. Power*e™ Glass also incorporates automatic shut-off systems in case of glass breakage. Importantly, the patented Power*e™ design provides an even electrical current across the glass which minimizes problems such as hot spots and glass breakage which can be caused by high voltage current and uneven sputtered or fire-sprayed metal contacts, foil contacts or other thin contacts.
Power*e™ Glass is independently tested and certified for safety by INTERTEK ETL SEMKO, an international testing organization recognized and accepted worldwide including by building code officials, fire marshals, and inspectors and all major North American retailers.
